A daily performance project by Nadia Vadori-Gauthier

Dance 889 - 20 June 2017

3:28 p.m., Gilbert Perroy square, Paris 14th. It’s 97 °F. The petanque players are having a break because of the canicule. I’m just comping out of 5 hours rehearsal. – I hope you’e not going to take the ugliest anyway. – Ooooh, Yes ! Very good. Keep on going. Everything is going fine for us. And now, without the dress. – Oh, that’s something else ! We’d like to know what’s under. – It’s worth a picture. – But careful, there’s a body-guard. (one of my students is waiting on the side, keeping my keys ) – Careful not to fall. I would have to stand up to pick you up . (to the others) : now you all take five euros out. ( OMG ! No comment 🙂 ) Eventually, I explain the project to them. The man in red says to me. : « Come back whenever you want, given the pleasure we had». ( little ordinary sociology épisode in a patriarchal milieu )
