DANCE CARD  – BENOÎT LACHAMBRE

06:50, Zipolite, Oaxaca (Mexico).

Benoît Lachambre opens the ball. He dances at daybreak, burning sage, the smoke of which you can see in the foreground.

Benoît is my first guest at the Dance Card ( Carnet de Bal).

I receive this 3002 dance, and the heart he puts into it, as a gift.

This is the first day in 8 years and 3 months that I haven’t danced “the minute”. I kind of feel like the “minute dance” is kind of like a kid leaving home to go dancing in Mexico. It’s amazing and it’s beautiful. Welcome to this marvelous artist that is Benoît Lachambre. He will be dancing “A Minute of Dance a Day” until the end of April.

As for me, faithful to the motto of this long-running work and to Nietzsche’s phrase “We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once “, I will continue to dance, for the invisible and you will not see me, but you will know that I am dancing. ALL MY LOVING.
