Dance 2088 - 1 October 2020

8:40 a.m., Vaugirard street, Paris 15.

This morning, Marie-Noëlle and Françoise are giving back the keys to this apartment they have known, just like Lucas since they were born, and who saw them grow up. All three are saying goodbye, by this dance, to the apartment of a lifetime. Their mother and grandmother Francine (with whom I shared dance 749 in this very room) used to live here.  She bowed out at the end of the summer. Places have a memory. These walls have seen all their ages pass by. It’s a love and farewell dance.
