A daily performance project by Nadia Vadori-Gauthier

Dance 1944 - 10 May 2020

11:11 a.m., Pierre Garage, Arcueil.

Day 55, last day of confinement. In his extraordinary garage, Pierre welcomes me again for a dance. Time stretchens between 1970 and 2020. It is 11:11 am, the hour of Guardian Angels. I’m dancing on a song by Christophe whose recent disappearance leaves a void. Then Pierre opens a bottle of champagne. He talks to me about music, painting, old cars and Robert Doisneau who used to live next door and often passed by. He says to me: “We are friends now”.
